Casey Laven
Casey Laven is a Certified General Accountant with a Bachelor of accounting Science from the University of Calgary (2002).
He has over 12 years of accounting experience to leverage on your behalf. He has worked in public practice firms providing such services as audits,
reviews, compilation engagements, and preparation of tax forms. He has also worked with the Ministry of Finance in the Provincial Sales Tax group
as an auditor and senior auditor. Casey can leverage his experience in consumption taxes to identify possible refund potential or tax
liability risk.
Casey is committed to his continued Professional Development. He has just finished taking a series of courses on Completion and Review Engagements, Audit Engagement, Tax & Financial Strategies, Advisory Services and future oriented financial information, and Trust Examinations and Special Reports.
Casey is also committed to his community. He works with non-profit agencies in both accounting and non-accounting roles. He is currently involved with Toastmasters.

Laven & Co. is a family firm (founded by Connie Laven) that has been providing accounting and tax services to the Nanaimo and Lantzville areas for
over 20 years.
On August 1, 2010 her son, Casey Laven, purchased the firm. Casey looks forward to providing the same quality, efficiency, and service clients have come to expect. Connie will continue to provide her invaluable insight as a consultant.
